Xiaomi launched Redmi 9 in India. As we expected, this phone is a brand new Redmi 9C that was launched in Europe last month. The Indian device is rumored to be called Poco C3, but now we know that is not the case.
The Indian version of the Redmi 9C, called Redmi 9, has a dual network of main cameras instead of three rear cameras in the Redmi 9C world. Again, we mention this in our main article below.
The Redmi 9 will be available in two types of RAM and RAM in India: 4GB RAM + 64GB for Rs 8,999 ($ 121) and 4GB RAM + 128GB for Rs 9,999 (135,135). This phone is also the first to use MIUI 12 in the Indian box. It has three colors: Sky Blue, Sport Orange, and Charcoal Black.

The Redmi 9 will be launched on August 31 on the Indian website Xiaomi, Amazon, and other offline retail stores in India.
These are mostly the same specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi 9C launched in Europe last month. However, the European version has a triple rear camera, while this Indian Redmi 9 would have two sensors on the rear. You may think that there is a third camera, but look carefully at the renderings and you will see that there is only a black space where the third camera is. His forecaster Agarwal also confirmed these details.
