Newegg has announced that it now accepts Dogecoin as an official payment method. Dogecoin’s prices have skyrocketed, increasing more than 19,000% in market value from the previous year, and as such, more and more companies are taking this cryptocurrency coin more seriously and are no longer treating it as a meme.

One of the main reasons for its rise in value was the support of Elon Musk, who recently tweeted about cryptocurrency. While other big players in the cryptocurrency market have also seen a huge rise in recent months (Bitcoin / Ethereum), Dogecoin has taken the lead with huge gains.

Newegg Now Accepts Dogecoin

At the moment, Dogecoin is priced around $ 0.4, up from just $ 0.06 a year ago.
